Heart attack is a condition wherein out of three arteries one or two arteries gets completely occluded leading to severe chest pain breathing difficulty.


Heart attacks are of two types major & minor.


Major heart attack occurs due to complete occlusion of a coronary artery.


Minor heart attack occurs due to partial occlusion of coronary artery.


Major heart attack is always life endangering & requires prompt treatment either primary angioplasty or thrombolytic therapy.


Minor heart attack requires medical stabilization followed by coronary intervention.


Early signs of heart attack are severe left sided chest pain with perspiration.


In diabetics chest pain does not occur.


In cases of heart attack it is advisable to take tab Ecosprin 150 mg clopidogrel 150 mg & Rosuvas 40 mg & immediately rush to the hospital.


Cardiac arrest is a condition where heart stops functioning completely & it is because of multiple reasons heart attack being one of them


On should undergo Cardiopulmonary resuscitation at that time
